Dr. Michelle Digman is a professor in UCI’s department of biomedical engineering and developmental and cell biology.  Sher serves as Director of the Keck Nanoimaging Lab, Laboratory for Fluorescence Dynamics (LFD).  

Dr. Digman’s research focuses on quantifying spatial and temporal dynamics of proteins during cell migration, characterizing metabolic alterations in cancer and degenerative diseased cells and tissues and developing novel imaging technologies.

Dr. Digman has authored over 115 peer-reviewed articles.  She earned her Ph.D. in chemistry with a specialization in biochemistry, M.S. in chemistry and B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
