Integration of Multidimensional Functional Imaging with Mammography and MRI

Aim 1: Develop, implement, and test algorithms that combine spectral, spatial, and dynamic information to optimally improve image quality.

Aim 2: Assess the improvement afforded by multi-modal imaging over stand-alone DOT and conventional breat imaging.

Aim 3: Investigate the imaging and diagnostic improvements provided by dynamic diffuse optical imaging. We will look at both intrinsic sources of contrast (e.g., mammographic compression and cardiac cycle) and injections of extrinsic optical contrast agents (e.g., indocyanine green).
