Specific Aims

Aim 1: Establish a common technological platform, based on the frequency-domain photon migration principle.

Aim 2: Develop a hardware platform that will allow easy incorporation of the different scanning designs for comparison and co-registration with existing imaging technologies..

Aim 3: Provide a common data structure that can be used by the Software Core for real-time display and offline accurate reconstruction.

Aim 4: Commission the development and construction of the scanners to the various manufacturers that have agreed to participate in the consortium.
