Executive Committee
The members of the Executive Committee promote collaborations and new projects within the Network, provide oversight for existing projects, review/recruit applications of new members, and evaluate developmental projects.
Meet monthly via conference calls and periodically at scientific-meetings.
Corporate Advisory Board
The members of the Corporate Advisory Board recruit new corporate members, raise matching funds for developmental projects, and advance the technology transfer/device development mission of the Network . They work with the executive committee to ensure continued progress in the development of prototypes and commercialization of technologies.
Meetings will take place with the executive committee biannually via the net-meeting format, face-to-face twice per year for Network retreats, and annually at the National/International symposium.
Members include representatives of SEIMENS, GE/Amersham Medical Systems, ART, Inc., ISS, Inc., Hamamatsu, Invitrogen, Phillips Laboratories, Praevium, Modulated Imaging, Centice, Access Photonics, and Newport Corporation.
Translational Research Committee
The members of the Translational Research Communicate determine translational research progress, review status of protocols, patient accrual, patient/physician acceptance of MD-DOI technology, clinical endpoints, histopathology correlates, and identifying barriers to translational research. In addition they drive forward formation of international standards for clinical measurement protocols (i.e. definition of clinical enpoints and clinical trial Phases).
Meetings of the TRC are biannual face-to-face meetings w/ entire Network annual national/international symposium.
Members include Medical Directors at each site (coordinated by the Network clinical protocol manager) .
Developmental Projects Committee
Representatives of the Executive committee, the Translational Research Committee, and the Corporate Advisory Board meet to review proposals as needed. This may include Ad Hoc members added as needed, e.g. from the Resource core external advisory boards.
